A Colorful First Visit to Singapore: Labubu’s Photography Adventure

RICKY GUI . 3 TO 4 MINUTES READING TIME

When Labubu hopped on a Singapore airline plane from Belgium to Singapore, she had no idea her very first visit would be filled with vibrant streets, rich culture, and a camera roll of unforgettable memories. I got no idea I am meeting the famous Labubu too!

A passionate photography lover and eager learner, she decided to join Capture Asia Photography for a private 1:1 photography tour. Together, we wandered through the lively neighborhoods of Little India and Kampong Glam—two of Singapore’s most colorful districts. From the bustling marketplaces to the street art and heritage shophouses, every corner offered a story waiting to be captured.

Photographer Labubu posing with her camera against the cityscape, she sure knows how to dress pretty.

Posing near Kampong Glam, isn’t she a natural model.

She loves nature and asked me whether is there any greenery to explore? As a local guide, I knew a spot and off we went without divert too far off the route.

Labubu may still be new to photography, but her enthusiasm was infectious. Along the way, I shared practical tips to help her sharpen her eye, play with light, and compose stronger shots. Watching her confidence grow with each frame was the most rewarding part of the day.

Of course, photography isn’t just about snapping pictures—it’s about enjoying the journey. Labubu had plenty of fun posing at landmarks, pictures are taken by the professional photographer. She was soaking in the sights, and even laughing at candid moments that unfolded naturally. To make things even better, she brought a friend along at a special companion rate, turning the experience into a shared adventure full of memories for two.

Labubu sitting at the ledge, the rustic yellow background makes her stand out well.

Posing against the public wall mural at Little India, don’t you think her costume is gorgeous.

She also loves the nature setting and wanted a shot with it, she even shared with me we should put in more effort to protect our environment. I totally agree with her.

That’s what these private tours are all about: creating space for curious photographers, whether beginner or seasoned, to explore Singapore differently. With a little guidance, a bit of creativity, and lots of discovery, every walk becomes both a lesson and a story to take home.

So, whether it’s your first time in Singapore or your hundredth, there’s always a new way to see this city through the lens. Who knows? You might just surprise yourself—just like Labubu did.
