Private Photography Tours in Singapore | One-on-one experience

Private tours are led by an experienced documentary and commercial photographer. Designed for curious, open mind travel photographers. We aim to help you see creatively, learn to slow down before shooting, and frame your own travel narrative into a more meaningful journey that lasts for a lifetime.

Why Join This Tour

Traveling alone can sometimes be frustrating. While taking photos is a great way to explore the city, most tourists only scratch the surface. That is why we’ve created a fully personalized, one-on-one experience private photography tour. You’ll receive 3.5 hours of guided tour and coaching on the Art of Seeing for just S$1.81 per minute, tailored to your pace, skill level, and creative interests. Optional image reviews, flexible routes within the precinct, and on-the-spot advice are all part of the journey.

What You’ll Shoot

Depending on your chosen route, expect a dynamic mix:

  • Singapore’s iconic cityscapes, heritage shophouses, and modern architecture.

  • Vibrant street life, cultural landmarks, colorful murals, and even quarries in nature settings.

  • What’s most exciting we’ll bring you to elevated spots in Chinatown and Little India that most tourists never find – perfect for dramatic cityscape shots and learning how to frame from above.

What You'll Learn

  • Stronger compositions – Learn to frame more impactful, balanced images in various urban and cultural settings.

  • The Art of Seeing – Train your eye to notice details, light, and angles that most people miss.

  • Identify and improve weak spots – Get hands-on guidance to strengthen areas you struggle with.

  • Refine your shooting style – Start shaping or redefining a style that feels authentic to you.

By the End of the Tour

  • You'll gain clarity on your shooting style.

  • You’ll see creatively, with a fresh approach to familiar or unfamiliar subjects.

  • You’ll know how to better use your lenses and camera to suit different situations.

  • You’ll walk away with a well-composed self-portrait at each landmark with your own gear.

So, why I am doing this service? Since my teenage years, I’ve always been interested in tourism, but poor school results meant I couldn’t enroll in the course I wanted, and life, as it often does, took its own path. In 2009, I started using Couchsurfing during my travels around Asia. It opened up my world — I met people from all walks of life, made friends across borders, and found joy in exchanging stories with strangers. Traveling alone back then, I had to hold up my heavy camera to take self-portraits — this was before the word “selfie” even existed. I had minimal documentation of myself and the landmarks I visited. For a while, that chapter faded into the background, but the curiosity never left. Even now, I still enjoy meeting people from all over the world. These days, I don’t have the time to travel — so instead of me going out to meet you, you come here and meet me in Singapore. With years of walking these local streets and a lifetime behind the lens, I now share both my local insights and photography experience with like-minded travelers. That’s how this private photography tour came to be — a way for me to make a decent living, meet curious and creative people, and help you create meaningful memories during your trip. Everything happens for a reason — that’s what I always believe.
